Do you have an anxious dog?
We do.
While Roo is incredibly lovable, we realized shortly after she came home from the pound that she was a little more than simply excitable. It’s normal for a puppy to need some time to adjust to his/her new surroundings, but Roo was terrified of certain things in our house. « Click here to continue reading the whole post »

According to Wikipedia, “Cinco de Mayo (Spanish for “fifth of May”) is a voluntarily observed holiday that commemorates the Mexican army’s unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.” It also states that the “battle was significant in that the 4,000 Mexican soldiers were greatly outnumbered by the well-equipped French army of 8,000 that had not been defeated for almost 50 years.” Those 4,000 soldiers must have teamed together pretty well in order to defeat twice as many enemies.
So, in honor of Cinco de Mayo, I’m gonna post cinco (5) pictures of our dogs “teaming” up together… and basically just being so darned cute haha.
“Get that itch!”
“Did someone say food?”
“What do you want? We’re relaxing.”
“What was that?!”
“I’m tired; you keep watch for a little while.”

Bucking on their walk
Barking at a knock
Stealing all your socks
With youthful eyes
Begging for a scrap
Jumping in your lap
Disrupting your nap
With feisty eyes
Getting old and gray
Sleeping through the day
You will want to say:
“I wish you would play”
With clouded eyes
Think of all you gave
And the life you made
As your dog will fade
Be a constant aid
With loving eyes
With the end don’t fret
Think about your pet
How it’s on a jet
To a place sans vet
With closed eyes
