I'm tempted to try it. Right now Roo uses a "food ball" -- basically just this heavy plastic ball that stays in her dish. We pour her food around it. We had a wonderful dog behaviorist come out and tell us that anxious dogs need a "job." Yea, right, have you seen JoJo? Unemployable by any stretch of the means..anywhooo...when we feed her now, we put her hard food in a water bottle (actually a gatorade bottle) and she has to "work" to get it out. And we find when she's done with that (takes her at least 20 mins to get that last morsel)I have to say she is CALM...for a little while. Ah..anxious dogs...what a pain but we love 'em.
